Last Friday we had a Smith family party in honor of Melanie who is going away to college. Mel will be attending Pacific Northwest College of Art. Melanie is a very talented artist and has won many awards for various art shows that she has been in. She's participated in the Gateway Chalk Art festival and won 2nd place for her entry this year.

Since she will be living in Portland we had a little "Student Shower" to help her live on her own. She received everything from A&D ointment (the laugh of the party) to a Stun-Gun.
Don & Ben teach Mel how to use her new stun-gun. None of her brothers volunteered to let her test it on them...big babies!
Melanie wanted to have a very low-key family game night. There was Foosball, card games, kids playing with toys and lots of laughing. Thanks for a great night everyone!!
