My sister!!!!

(My poor asthmatic sister. Couldn't even blow out one candle. I had to help her!)

What better reason for a get together! Kim didn't want to have to suffer being the center of attention so we opted for lunch at Kim's favorite restaurant (Costa Vida) and then back to my mom's for presents (both real and gag), cake and ice cream and more talking! It was such a fun day!! We gave her forty dollar bills (Hey! That's all we could afford!!) with the following memories attached to each one.

1. Contrary to what Daddy says Kim's the oldest of the Pickett kids
2. Her peanut butter bars. Yum!! (But only when she remembers to put in the peanut butter!!)
3. Her rolls! Nobody can eat only one!
4. She could be the fastest talker in the state
5. She's my best friend
6. She "goes with the flow"!!
7. She has deadly aim with ice cubes. Shawn's forehead can attest to that!!
8. She's a water snob
9. She's a proud mother of three
10. Will always be "Kimmy" to Grandma Davis
11. She doesn't' have a life when it's dance competition time
12. She hates to drive
13. She has more empty cottage cheese and sour cream containers than the rest of us combined!
14. She can name all Pickett cousins and their wives. This is something that Daddy can't do.
15. She watches "The Bachelor" in secret
16. She's a great organizer!
17. She's becoming a gym addict. Well, maybe not quite yet!
18. Mom was very grateful you didn't weigh 9 lbs at birth
19. All the nieces and nephew love Aunt Kim's house. Or maybe they love Aunt Kim's kid's toys!!
20. She is always there when needed
21. She has bathroom phobia and hates when the neighbor boys use her bathroom.
22. She's a big sister x 5
23. She "love, love, LOVES!" Taylor Swift
24. She can sing all the songs to all 3 High School Musicals
25. She has pretty Pickett hands
26. She broke her pinky toe falling off the door mat
27. She hates milk!
28. She attended her Senior Cotillion with a 3 inch shaving wound on her shin
29. Finally got her drivers license at age 18
30. She hates spiders!!
31. She stops breathing for what seems like minutes while sleeping and then frantically gasps for air. Makes for an interesting night!
32. She once had all her "decorative candles" lit
33. She may never live down the "are your legs painted on" comment
34. She has hosted many sleepovers for nieces and nephews for babies being born and honeymoons.
35. Has enough Scentsy bars to open her own store
36. She's a "Twi-hard" fan
37. She made her little 5 year old sister (me) get her ears pierced first
38. She had her chair pulled out from underneath her at Grandma Pickett's funeral. Naughty Doug!
39. She's a good listener, even when people are venting!
40. She failed quilt school! Never did complete all 12 squares

We got her a "old lady bag" and filled it with what apparently are the essentials once one turns 40!!
